Amy Weaver leads the global legal, corporate governance and corporate security teams at salesforce.com. She is a member of the company’s executive committee.
In her current role, Weaver led the company’s legal efforts against discriminatory legislation in Indiana and Georgia. She is actively involved in the World Economic Forum and is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Weaver was named to the National Diversity Council’s “50 Most Powerful Women in Tech” list in 2016.
Prior to joining Salesforce, Weaver was executive vice president and general counsel of Univar Inc., where she was responsible globally for all legal and corporate affairs, governance, corporate transactions, compliance, litigation and employment law matters. Previously Weaver was senior vice president and deputy general counsel at Expedia, Inc. Weaver practiced law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore and at Perkins Coie LLP. Prior to entering private practice, she served as a legislative aide to a member of the Hong Kong Legislative Council and as a clerk on the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Weaver is the Executive Sponsor for the Salesforce Women’s Network and Abilityforce employee resource groups. She also sits on the Advisory Boards of the Pro Bono Institute and YearUp — a nonprofit organization that provides urban young adults with skills, training, and internships.
Weaver has a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Wellesley College.
