Wei Chen is the VP and Associate General Counsel leading the legal function for mergers & acquisitions, strategic investment, real estate and data center at Salesforce. During her 7.5-year tenure at Salesforce, Salesforce has become one of the most active acquirers and strategic investors in the technology space, the largest corporate tenant in San Francisco, and a prominent leader in fueling the unprecedented growth in cloud computing.
Because of her achievements, Wei received The Recorder “In-House Impact Award” in 2015 and The Recorder “Deals and Acquisitions” Award in 2014. Wei is a champion of the Salesforce 1-1-1 philanthropy model. Leveraging the platform of Salesforce Ventures, Salesforce’s corporate investing arm, Wei helped advocate Salesforce’s philanthropy model to many of Salesforce’s portfolio companies and their employees, encouraging them to adopt the value of trust, equality and giving back. Wei is an active volunteer in her community and local schools.
