April Oliver is the Associate General Counsel, Global Ethics & Integrity and a member of the legal leadership team at Salesforce. She provides the strategic vision for the ethics and legal compliance program and oversees legal compliance training, including for Code of Conduct, anti-corruption, conflict of interest, ethics and hospitality, and export controls. She previously served for more than two years as “compliance lead” for Amazon’s new Compliance & Customer Trust group, helping to launch that program globally. She was also previously a member of the Business Fraud and Complex Litigation Group at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, where she represented corporations and individuals in a wide variety of white collar criminal and litigation matters.
April is an active leader in promoting and empowering women to pursue leadership roles in organizations. She served on a panel at the 2016 SF Women in Leadership Symposium, and spoke on the importance of ‘Finding & Owning Your Voice”. She has also been a contributor to the Salesforce internal women’s ‘Employee Resource Group’ and hosted a women’s leadership session in Salesforce’s India office in 2016.
