Rachel Courtney is Vice President, Associate General Counsel, Global Labor & Employment at salesforce.com, inc. in San Francisco, California. Prior to joining salesforce.com in 2007, Ms. Courtney was Director, Associate General Counsel at E*TRADE Financial, and an employment law associate at the law firms of Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker LLP in San Francisco, and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in San Francisco and Washington D.C. Ms. Courtney is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Madison and the American University, Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Ms. Courtney was the 2017 recipient of the Silicon Valley Business Journal and San Francisco Business Times Bay Area Corporate Counsel award. After serving as an active Board Member for the non-profit Aircraft Casualty Emotional Support Services (ACESS) for eight years, Ms. Courtney is now an Emeritus Board Member and a grief mentor to others who have lost loved ones in aircraft disasters.
